Dr. Ron Shapiro is the founder and medical director of Shapiro Medical Group in Minneapolis. He has specialized in hair transplantation since 1990 and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery. Dr. Shapiro co-authored the primary textbook studied by physicians worldwide learning hair transplantation, often referred to as 'the Bible' of the field. He received the Golden Follicle Award in 2004 for outstanding patient care and contributions to hair restoration.
